Accepting Jesus

If you want to receive Jesus as Lord and savior… or if you have doubts but still would like to have a relationship with Jesus pray the following prayer that applies to you.

If you would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior:

Jesus I ask that you come into my heart and set me free, forgive me for all my sins. I repent from all my sins that I have committed against you and against myself. I renounce my sinful ways and open my heart to receive you as my Lord and savior. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and life, for helping me to walk in love, mercy and grace, in the name of Jesus… Amen.

A second prayer: Lord you know my pain, you know my life and my past abuse, and I ask you to help me through the pain of my past; to give me the strength to keep moving forward, as I grow and learn from you through your word and prayer. Teach me to trust you in all things, to learn of your love and to know your love. Help me grow in you and guide me towards my destiny and fulfill my purpose in life, thank you for hearing my prayer… in Jesus name… Amen.

If you have doubt and would like a relationship with Jesus:

Jesus, I’m not sure about all this, but if you are who you say you are show me who you are. I will keep an open mind and I will open my heart to understand what I don’t understand. If you are who you say you are show me. I’ve been through too much pain in my past from all the abuse that happened to me, so you need to know that I don’t trust anyone. I don’t believe anyone or confide in anyone, I’ve been let down and walked over and I can’t take another let down. You also need to know that I don’t know what real love is, so if you are the real love that everyone talks about, show me. So Jesus if you are who you say you are show me, so I can have a relationship with you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will have eternal life. John 3:16
